Indian Visionary Award under the title of Real Heroes by I & B ministry winner Dr Archana Shailesh Patel
Dr Archana Shailesh Patel is serving in Indian wild life as volunteer rescuer since 32 years, a journey started with her Brother Mr. Chirag Satish Bhatt a renowned Event organiser, Actor and An animal activist since years in the same field. Both bother sister have got their snake handling techniques while going Sundervan - A nature sanctuary, at satelite Ahmedabad. Starting with taking care of stray, fighting for animal space amongst concrete jungle. the journey is never ending, Dr Archana have rescued an average of 1000/1200 domestic stray and reptile species, their home is a known to send any injured bird, hare, dogs, cats, squirrels etc., as she lives in village and agricultural land, she often gets call to rescue snake for farmers home and monitor lizards from surroundings, once they rescue them it’s Mandatory to follow forest departments guidelines and managing call sheets with every detail about the species she rescue. For injured bird and animal dr archana Patel have tremendous support from VG Patel Foundation - Anand Animal Helpline where in they help Dr Archana to get shelter for injured animals, dr Nirali and dr Mayur as veterinarians- they also helps to treat all stray with a very nominal or sometime no fees at dr archana’s doorstep. Dr Archana is also Privileged with her town recognization from Dharmaj Gram Panchayat, and is also a treasurer in Daya Foundation who is serving Indian WIldlife Rescue in guidelines with Gujarat forest department. Recently dr Archana have formed her own NGO to serve animals and reptiles and other then all above she is the owner to 350+ exotic live species private pet farm. Looking in to Dr Archana’s journey the Golden Sparrow director RJ Arti and Dr Tilak Tanwar came across to know her and as they were the official coordinators for such event have nominated dr Archana to receive the honour under I&B ministry as real hero for her rescue work. The event was held at Akashvani Bhavan, New Delhi by an Indian bollywood personality Shri Poonam Dhillon on 18th May’2025.
